ACM SIGDA is pleased to announce that Prof. Sachin Sapatnekar (University of Minnesota) received the 2026 SIGDA Pioneering Achievement Award, presented at DAC 2026.

Prof. Sapatnekar was recognized “for his groundbreaking fundamental research contributions to EDA in timing analysis and physical design, EDA education through high-impact textbooks, and strong leadership in the community.”

The Pioneering Achievement Award honors individuals whose work has had a lasting impact on the field of electronic design automation.
