Conferences & Publications

SIGDA has played a pioneering role in electronic publishing for the electronic design automation (EDA) community. This effort began with the DA Library in 1989, which archived 25 years of EDA literature in a series of CD-ROMs. In the early 1990s, SIGDA published the first EDA conference proceedings on CD-ROM, and today continues to produce CD-ROM or DVD proceedings for many major EDA conferences and symposia each year.

In addition, SIGDA produces an annual DVD Super Compendium of conference proceedings, as well as Multimedia Monographs based on invited talks at DAC and ICCAD or specially produced tutorial materials. SIGDA members also receive a bi-monthly electronic newsletter that provides updates on upcoming conferences, funding opportunities, and community activities.

SIGDA also sponsors, co-sponsors, and cooperates with a broad range of conferences and events across EDA, computer architecture, and related research communities. For SIGDA-sponsored conferences, the definitive versions of conference proceedings are available through the ACM Digital Library at no charge for one year starting from the beginning of each conference.
